Your local YMCA is part of one of Australia's oldest and most respected not-for-profit organisations, with a history extending over 155 years. In everything that we do, we aim to build strong people, strong families and strong communities.

The Caringbah YMCA offers a wide range of youth, family and community services, along with health and fitness, gymnastics, recreation and leisure opportunities.

Including a fitness centre, gymnastics arena and multi purpose program rooms, the Centre is a multi-purpose facility and our experienced, qualified staff conduct programs and services to cater for the diverse ages, interests and abilities of surrounding communities while building opportunities for individuals, families and community groups to connect, feel welcome and grow in body, mind and spirit.

• Children's Services

  YMCA of Sydney is an organisation committed to listening and actively responding to the community's needs. Our children's programs are designed to impart positive values and partnerships within the wider community. We provide a safe, nurturing environment where your children can develop social skills, learn through play and build personal assets that assist them in becoming positive, healthy young people who reach their full potential.   • Before and After School Care

    Before School Care is a great program for children of parents who need care before school hours. Children will enjoy unstructured play and stimulating activities that help get them ready for the day ahead.

     

    Our After School Care program offers a wide range of varied and flexible activities. Children can choose from a variety of materials and resources including computers, arts, crafts, music, cooking and sports. With the support of qualified, experienced staff, children select and plan their own activities and experiences. In consultation with parents, staff can also supervise homework.

  • Creche Look after yourself while we look after the kids! The YMCA's creche service provides your children with a safe and caring environment, whilst you as the parent are enjoying your own YMCA experience, whether it be your fitness regime, or taking an art class.
  • Holiday Adventures

    At the Y's Holiday Adventures program your children will have fun while making new friends, learning new skills, exploring Sydney's sights and growing through new and exciting experiences every day. Of course, they'll just think they're having heaps of fun!

    Our Holiday Adventures school holiday activities offer CCB supported, affordable fun for everyone at YMCA locations right around Sydney and NSW. The YMCA is the world's largest provider of childcare services so you know you can trust the YMCA. Activities include day camp theme days, exciting excursions, specialty clinics in sports and creative arts and MUCH more!

  • Artistic Gymnastics The YMCA is a recognised leader in the delivery of gymnastics programs for all ages and abilities. Gymnastics is the ideal way for children to develop strength, coordination and flexibility, motor skills, confidence and self esteem. YMCA of Sydney's gymnastics clubs offer varying levels of the Artistic Gym program.

  • Kindergym

    YMCA Kindergym is a physical and social development program for children aged 18mths - 5 yrs, based on gymnastics skills and apparatus. Kindergym kids learn to be stronger in body (motor skills, strength and coordination), mind (creativity, cognitive development and problem solving) and spirit (social development and confidence).

    With our unique "themed" program, children experience a new adventure every fortnight like circus, superheroes, the Olympics, jungle safari and more.

  • Sports Acrobatics Team Gym Fun for Everyone! This is a unique team based gymnastics discipline. Stretch, jump and tumble in pairs, trios and fours. Male and female fun for all ages.

  • Teen & Adult Gymnastics Whether it be for fun and fitness for beginners, or people returning to a sport they loved participating in, teen and adult gymnastics is a great program as it promotes strength, coordination and flexibility. It is an enjoyable way to get up and be active! With friendly, qualified YMCA instructors teaching a range of skills, all ages and abilities can participate!

  • Group Fitness Enjoy fun fitness with friends at your local YMCA. We offer a diverse range of group fitness programs delivered by our friendly qualified instructors. From traditional aerobics to boxing based classes, circuits and more alternative health programs.

  • prYmeMOVERS Physical activity for mature adults! The prYme movers philosophy embraces three elements: Fitness, Fun and Friendship for the mature population. Fitness is the essence through exercise to music with instructors who have empathy for mature adults. Pryme Movers welcome newcomers and foster and maintain an atmosphere of fun and friendliness to enable one and all to feel that they really belong. Through participation, new and common interests and new and shared experiences, friendships are forged. This in turn enhances the quality of life now and for years to come.

  • Teen Gym The YMCA teen gym program is an after school program for teenagers aged between 12 -15 years offering age appropriate exercise programs for teens run by qualified YMCA fitness trainers. Teen gym is a fun and exciting program in which your children can improve their strength, fitness, general health and well being. Teen Gym will also help develop positive exercise habits for life, as well as helping young people grow in confidence and self-esteem.

  More so than any other organisation the diversity of the YMCA's programs means that we offer opportunities for people to connect, belong and grow in body, mind and spirit.   • Drawing and painting The YMCA offers drawing / painting  courses. A fun and relaxed opportunity for everybody to develop their creative skills and create a masterpiece or two. Our teachers are friendly and experienced and take the time to ensure that all participants enjoy and develop their drawing / painting.

• School PE

  The PDHPE syllabus reflects core YMCA values of developing body, mind and spirit. For this reason the YMCA's school PE program is an essential tool in our promise to build strong people, strong families and strong communities and why in Sydney the YMCA is the most trusted and reliable provider of school PE programs. • Youth Leadership

  The YMCA has a proud history in developing young leaders. In addition to the provision of specific programs such as the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, youth leadership is a key 'community strengthening promise' that runs through all of the programs that we provide.   • Future Leaders

    YMCA Future Leaders is an annual personal and professional development program for young YMCA staff aged 18-25.  The program delivers personal development and leadership sessions whilst focusing on providing a broader understanding of the YMCA, developing skills directly applicable to their work environments and inspiring them to become a positive influence within their centre.  The YMCA is committed to the training and development of it’s staff and Future Leaders is just one example of this commitment.

  • Marland Cup

    Marland Cup is the YMCA’s annual state-wide youth camp that began in 1990 to provide young people with the opportunity to participate in ‘clean, healthy fun’. Forming teams of 6-8, young people compete in various challenges over the course of the weekend. Teams are awarded points for their achievement and at the end of the weekend, these points are tallied. The team with the highest amount of points take home the Marland Cup Trophy. The camp is open to any young person aged 12-17.
