Teen Gym

The YMCA Teen Gym program is an after school program for teenagers aged between 11 -15 years, offering age appropriate exercise programs for teens run by qualified YMCA fitness trainers.

Teen gym is a fun and exciting program in which your young adults can improve their strength, fitness, general health and well being. Teen Gym will also help develop positive exercise habits for life, as well as helping young people grow in confidence and self-esteem.

Caringbah YMCA has a great range of structured and non-structured training options for Teen Gymers, including Spin, Boxing, Circuits, Weight training & Core classes. Young people of the Shire and beyond are able to join our lively trainers between 3 - 5pm, Monday-Thursday.

Teen Gym members are encouraged to participate in our unique 4-Visit Induction prior to working out independantly in the Fitness Centre. This involves a quick medical check, assessment of goals and previous fitness experience & sporting involvements. Trainers will then taylor make a fitness routne suitable for each Teen Gym member.

How much is it?
Casually $6.50
10-visit pass $55.00 ($5.50 per session)
Membership from $12.25 per week - or join on our flexible Family Membership and get the whole family enjoying the Y
Students 16 years and over Casually $12.00 per visit
Adults $15.00 per visit

Please note: Families (with children under the age of 16) wishing to workout together in the Fitness Centre, are encouraged to do so off-peak, with prior approval from a Fitness Centre Staff member. It is Caringbah YMCA preferance that all children under the age of 16 workout with an a parent or guardian, and are not to be left unsupervised at anytime.
For safety reasons, children under the age of 11 are prohibited from the fitness centre at all times (unless approved prior by the Fitness Manager).
For children aged 11-16 to workout independantly, this must be between the hours of 3-5pm Monday - Thursday.
