Yoga

Yoga is the ideal way to stretch, relax and unwind while improving your general health and well being.

  • YMCA Caringbah's keen Yoga Instructor Laurie, got involved in Yoga through his involvement in Surfing. Lauries has been teaching and developing for over 20 years. His Yoga style is a stronger, physical style, of traditional hatha yoga. Hatha Yoga is a good introduction to Yoga incorporating breathing, concentration, increasing range of movement, flexibility and core strength.
    Come along to Lauries Yoga class on Thursday evenings, 7.30pm.
  • Bec - our Friday 10.30am Instructor, describes her class as a combination of Hatha yoga asana’s with an emphasis on moving with the breath in a flowing Vinyassa style. She incorporates a relaxation period at the beginning and end of each class.
    The class is suitable for beginners and general level students and provide stretching, strengthening, relaxation and enjoyment with the student leaving the class feeling rejuvenated, energised and relaxed.
